Join us for this year's Challenge and use your innovation to drive change in social care

Do you want to make long-lasting impact in social care?

We invite individuals from a range of disciplines to think broadly on ways to create positive change. The Care Innovation Challenge is open to everyone.

It starts  Friday 5th July - Sunday 7th July, with the final being held Wednesday 14th August at the Department of Health and Social Care.

A creative weekend of idea generation and prototype trialling.

We're inviting applications from teams  to attend a 'hackathon' style weekend in London. This weekend will involve taking on some of the biggest challenges facing the care sector.   

Once we identify a winner, we will provide co-working spaces as well as ongoing mentorship and support to you.

We work closely with our Founding Partners, who will further support by provide their expert knowledge to help you create the best possible solution for the care sector.

We welcome applications from entrepreneurs, working professionals and students keen to make a difference in  provide a high quality of life for those receiving care. 


  Starting with 12 teams, the weekend will end with teams presenting their projects to a judging panel of industry experts.  


    5 teams with the highest quality ideas will be selected to go through to the next round of the Care Innovation Challenge. 


  Each project will be awarded a £500 project fund, £100 personal prize for each member of the team and a experienced mentor.
